How many of you think the way they was acting during the game was wrong? I for one dont see much wrong with it i know that ellis kid was gettin under their skin but im sure that was their game plan. They was trying to turn the table in there favor some because let's face it talent wise they did'nt sand a chance like 99.8 percent of the rest of the country. But kitty fans callin this kid out and he's coach is bad. How easily they forget that just a few years ago they had a thug named cousins and im sure if he woulda done something like this they would just be laughing and sayin it's part of the game. Oh and lets not forget about one of the harrisons bumping in to the kid like a thug would do. Dont hear much about that tho do we?

They had the right attitude going into the game they were not scared they just didn't have the offensive players they have had recently on this team to really win that game. And with it being a home game for uk they had no chance.

UK didn't acquire their talent advantage playing the game straight up, so i have no issue with any team doing what they need to do to try and compete. The only chance Cincinnati had was to play very physical and try to get under UK's skin. They did that well without going overboard.

"UK didn't acquire their talent advantage playing the game straight up"

^^^ Well said. Concise, accurate and truthful.

It's also why 36-0, 40-0 or whatever, will always have an asterisk next to it in most people's book.

Watching that game, I thought Ellis was a punk. Even my wife, who was not actively watching, thought the same thing. Between the elbow shot last game, and the grabbing, pushing, swinging, and jawing this game, he's your basic thug/enforcer. That being said, it worked well for Cincy for awhile. They managed to get into UK's head, throw them off their game, even got on of twin T'd up.

UK has played in plenty of physical games this year, this wasn't the first and won't be the last. But I think part of the plan was to unleash Ellis and see how far they could go. If I were coaching Cincy, I'd probably do the same thing. You have a weapon, use it.

It seemed that game was closer than the score indicated... maybe it was the lack of rhythm. Cincy gave their best, but were just out matched.

When UK football came into PJCS acting like the Crips, their fans embraced the aggressive and thug like attitude. But when it happens to their team, especially in their beloved sport, it's wrong. Very wrong.

I have 2 words for what I saw from Cincy yesterday....Thug Ball. I made a post abou this on the national board too. I've never seen a bigger bunch of thugs and dirty play in a long while....the pushing, shoving, and trash talking from them to our players was uncalled for. So glad we put Thug U and Ellis and the rest down for good. No place for that in college ball..,

Dead on. Talk about a bunch of punks, the UK football team including some of their team leaders and coaches were as Bush league as it gets last November at PJCS. Never heard on ONE UK fan say that they were embarrassed by their team's actions before the game yet they have the nerve to call someone a thug in a basketball game.

Effing hypocrites. I can guarantee if Louisville football players pull that crap next year in Lexington I'd be the first to call them out but of course when you have a real football coach who doesn't need gimmicks to get ready for a game that's not going to happen.

No hypocrisy here, I derided UK for doing that bush league crap at the UL game. Jumping and cheering in the end zone is one thing, pushing and shoving and taunting is another... no place for that in sports IMO.

This was Cincys best chance to win and it was a good game plan. Ellis got a little chippy in the 2nd half but I've seen worse, No big deal.

Yes, I'm dying to say it! So here goes... It was very Petrino-like. There, I said it! I feel better! Quit race baiting...

Calling racists out for their racism is not race baiting, racist. You know exactly what "thug", "thug ball" etc. means. Again, quit being a racist and I'll quit "baiting" you, racist. "Thug" is the new code word for "ni**er", so stop acting like it isn't. . . you racist.

IMO in the first half it looked to me like they were baiting Ellis to lose his cool. That includes Harrison's weak little stunt. And WCS probably should have fouled out in the first half. Apparently over the back doesn't get called when you wear blue and white. So don't act like UK has a bunch of choir boys that pulled a tough altar duty assignment. Both teams played very physical and the refs let them.
