Charles Cameron a JUCO DT recruit was at the 'Cuse game for an official visit. We didn't get a commitment. Cameron plans to visit FAU and Texas Tech.

Goldwire took a visit to Oregon State [1-10] last weekend and is literally begging Miami for a ride.

Boykin, is probably a lock.

Why we can't get a commitment from a guy that has 2 offers FAU/Texas Tech, I don't know. Why is Goldwire visiting a 1-10 team and begging Miami for a ride - something "ain't" right.

Miami has prospects they think are better than Goldwire I take it. Let’s just hope we don’t get left at the alter on signing day again. Boykin may still a question mark on grades according to Chris P (indirectly stating of course). I believe I am beginning to agree with some others here when they say that maybe the problem is LD and the Defensive Coaching. It’s not like our guys have been getting drafted very highly other than Sheldon. We just have to hope we can keep Goldwire, Boykin qualifies, and that this Cameron guy jumps at the offer after playing the field. If he hasn’t been talking to the coaches until recently, it’s understandable that he would get to know them before comitting. Dumervil has redshirt written all over him, but that’s ok. He could become a great player if he loses weight.

Who is handling the recruitment of the Dline? It is tough to recruit to a position that is loaded with juniors and senior with limited playing time available. It shouldn't be this tough when there is plenty of playing time available. Look how they were able to recruit Oline last year. Night and day difference with the DL, no real option to cover if recruits start dropping.

A Dline coach that can't recruit is a problem and frankly it is a problem for the defensive coordinator. The staff have to be able to recruit if they can't then tough calls have to be made.
