A great night for Anna Stevenson, who recorded 12 kills and hit .296 to lead #1 University of Louisville volleyball past #14 Georgia Tech 25-21, 25-21, 27-25 Friday night at LNFCU.
With the win, Cards are still undefeated at 24-0 and 14-0 in the ACC. As a team, the Cardinals had 44 kills while hitting .259 with 12 blocks, seven aces and 40 digs. Claire "in the air" Chaussee was second on the team with 11 kills and hit .360 for the match. A nice night for Aiko Jones, who had 8 kills Anna DeBeer and Amaya Tillman had six kills. Tori Dilfer produced 34 assists and a team-high 13 digs, with an ace. Elena Scott added 10 digs and a team-high two aces.
In a losing effort, Georgia Tech had 46 kills and hit .216 with 52 digs and four blocks. Julia Bergmann led the Yellow Jackets offense with 15 kills, hitting .258 with nine digs. With the loss, GT is now 21-4 on the season and 9-3 in conference play
