Cards still #2, Van Lith ACC freshman of the week again

The AP WBB poll released today has Louisville still #2 after their conference wins over Virginia Tech and Clemson. Stanford remains # 1 and ACC foe NC State remains #3.

Hailey Van Lith was named ACC Freshman of the Week for the second time in the 2020-21 season also today. Van Lith had a combined 22 points and 16 rebounds in UofL's wins.

CJW has done a great job getting us games and that has helped us stay up top and in as much rhythm as possible. I see where UConn has their next 2 games canceled. HVL is so sound fundamentally in all aspects of the game that I can see her winning many ACC freshmen of the week awards. It is still impressive to me that the 5’8” guard is the leading rebounder on the team.
