Cards not ranked

I know some here will be annoyed by me talking about the rankings again, but it just continues to amaze me how this Louisville team is disrespected by the voters.

At anytime in the last 40 years or so if Louisville was 18 and 6 and 11 and 2 in conference play, they would be in the top 25. Then add the schedule strength in the top 15 and the amount of double figure wins plus doing this despite major injuries, you have to wonder what the hell is the deal?

Louisville is receiving votes that puts them at 29. That is total bullshit.

It took forever to get ranked and then after the loss to GT who I remind beat Clemson on the road their next game, the Cards apparently have to prove more than others that they are worthy of being a top 25 ranked team.

I know the AP poll doesn't mean anything when it comes to forecasting Louisville's post season chances, so there's no need for retorts to that affect. I'm just legitimately asking why the reluctance of voters when it comes to this Louisville team?

The Cards should be a huge story, with the media praising the turnaround and the excellent coaching that led to it. Instead, Louisville is behind three other teams just out of the top 25.

It doesn’t bother me to fly under the radar a bit. think, especially if Chucky comes back and is himself, that we could make a run in the ACC tournament and maybe earn a 6 or 7 seed. Depending on how the brackets shake out, the sweet 16 is not impossible.

we lost to an unranked, .500 team when we were ranked 23rd i believe. and we've not beaten anyone good to change anyone's minds. simply, don;t pull a CJB and lose the the teams you should crush and it would not be an issue. but we choked.

NET = 28.

We’re right on the cusp, right where we should be.

Just don't agree. A 16 and 7 Kansas is ranked #17. They could lose twice this week and would probably still be ranked.

Louisville is not where they should be. It's not about flying under the radar, it's about no respect for what Louisville has accomplished, for whatever reason.

I don't like it but I respect others opinions. Louisville should be around #20. They are one game out of first place behind Duke but that apparently means nothing.

Louisville has won 12 out of their past 13 games. It's just ridiculous.

An unranked Clemson lost at home to that unranked team days later but now they're ranked after beating Duke. Louisville beat Clemson by some 14 points I believe, so doesn't that mean anything?

I have no problem with Clemson being ranked, but that should mean Louisville should also be ranked.

It shouldn't be that difficult to understand. The voters don't want to include Louisville in their polls and always look for a reason not to.

Again, the numbers don't lie. If in October, you were told Louisville would be 18 and 6 with a top 15 strength of schedule and a 10 game winning streak, mostly against ACC teams, would you expect the Cards to be in the top 25?

How about any other major conference team?

It's all optics. Clemson's win over Duke got the most attention while we are navigating through injuries. Based on the mudhole they stomped in the Heels tonight, look for both Clemson and the Cards to be 'surprise' teams in the NCAAT.

Not worried about seeding or where we play, just who we play next.

I think we should be ranked in the top 25 but it doesn’t bother me. Not being ranked means you are still going to be overlooked even though we are beating everybody by double digits.

The loss to GT was disappointing, but at that time, GT was playing exceptionally well and anyone who watches college MBB recognize that most any team right now can upset another team under the right conditions. #1 Auburn losing rather convincingly at home to a very good UF team is another example of what can happen on any given game.
