Of course im being facetious, but who is less than excited about this big bowl game when you can't beat UK? I have already cancelled my vacation days at work and rolled them into next year. whereever we go, I shall not be in attendance!

What are UL's bowl options ? (seriously) I can't believe that they wouldn't want to showcase the man who is likely to win the Heisman (easily).

We have an outside shot at the orange bowl still, but as long as Grantham is coaching we will continue to suck.

I really could care less....we will probably just lose again. After having hopes of the playoffs....what a huge disappointment this season ended up. In normal basis would be happy with 9-3....but now we will barely be in the top 25.

They wont turn it down, but it wont be a sellout.

Coaches wont make any changes, so whats the point.

I'll tape it, and watch it later.
maybe the sunshine pumpers can buy up our 50 tickets. then go down on the field and hug the moron DC and offensive line coach after we get railed in our g5 bowl game

Sure. Why not. WV wins 31-21.

Unless WVU gets the Alamo Bowl, or they try to set up a WVU-Pitt Backyard Brawl in Orlando.

Pretty disappointing when just a couple weeks ago we had hopes of playoffs or new years 6, but it'd be a pretty fun game between two top 15 teams with some history.

I think part of the downside to the CFP is the less interest in the Bowl games. I mean what's the point? Sure it means extra practice for the team but they could do the same if they let teams practice during the offseason. It used to be a reward for the players and fan base but now it just seems a reward to the players, but do they really deserve it this year? Like others have said, I will support the team by watching and rooting for them of course but I'm not willing to spend money on a poor effort that proves nothing.

Okay, I hope this is emotion talking here instead of reason. There's no way put a shine on what happened today, and even though most of us expected a 9-3 season going into it, I doubt you could find one UofL fan who expected one of those potential losses to be the Cayuts. The same team that lost to Southern Miss and trailed AUSTIN "Let's Go" PEAY 10-0 a week ago. But it's a rivalry game, these things happen. Ask the 2007 BCS title-bound WVU Eers, who lost 13-9 at home to a pitiful 4-8 Pitt team. It sucks and it's not rational but it happens.

UK really threw a change up in there with that air attack. Did not expect that and neither did our coaches apparently (to the point they had no adjustment in their pockets). Just blitz up the middle, daring them to pass - and pass they did.

Lamar had some insane stats today, but can't ignore 3 interceptions and that fumble. There were times I expected him to bust loose but he stayed in the pocket too long and got sacked for big losses because of it. Crazy stats, but some big mistakes too. I can't blame him for that interception that bounced out of his receiver's hands, though.

Here are the facts, undeniable as of right now 11/26 8pm:

- The Cards are 9-3
- The Cards are still likely to go to the Orange Bowl, a NY6 Bowl.
- Lamar is still likely to win the Heisman
- Our defense is beat up and will be better come time for the bowl game. There are PLENTY of teachable moments in that game film today that they can study for the next month.
- Yes, the shine is dimmer because of the UK loss, but the potential is still there for a 10th win over a good opponent and thus a very good season.

Now this is a big IF - but IF the coaches/team can recover psychologically from this loss, I expect a 2016 Music City Bowl type of performance.

There's no way Louisville goes to a New Years 6 bowl after that 3rd loss.... two straight bad losses.

How do you bloody hell NOT prepare for the 'air attack'
They knew the Cards were preparing for the run, so prepare for the pass also.

If blitz A is not working, try b,c,d,e or not blitzing.

This guy is paid a million dollars and from what ive witnessed, he's overpaid by
$999,999 dollars.

No qb pressures. No sacks. Added 1st and grantham to 3rd and grantham.
If their receivers dont drop the ball, they win by 14.

Defense was an F today.

"There's no way UofL loses to uofk"
Oh wait.

Bowl game is going to be toast.
Cause if they decide to show up after those garbage displays against UH
and uofk , i'll really be upset.
Act like Alabama -play like Alabama State.
Pathetic.

You are right to one extent we have thrown down the field very successfully over this season, but you have to give credit to our O line. They are good and everyone comes back next year except for toth...

In total agreement! Might have held a Big 12 team to 70 points today. And Devonte Fields is now performing with David Copperfield....poof...disappeared!

You're frustrated and I understand, but you don't mean that. You want them to win and win big and get some good momentum with a returning Lamar for 2017. And we need as good of a starting place as we can get with that horrible schedule (especially OOC) next year.
