Putting out an apb on the old in your face, run it in your rear, foot on your neck Bobby f-ing Petrino.

Lets kill the kragthorpian, hug everybody guy we have seen this season.
Starting with Syracuse, lets close the year with the red faced mastermind we are used to.

Heres to seeing Bobby F-ing Petrino against Syracuse and beyond.

Go Cards. !!!!!

I had the same issue when he was hired based on the "new Bobby" talk, and I openly stated it here. But I'm not too concerned yet that a kinder, gentler Petrino is our problem. Being an SOB with a bunch of freshmen and newcomers probably isn't gonna gain you much.

But I'm gonna be on the lookout for that nice guy stuff in the near future. I know I wanna see him bite a guy's head off for committing a stupid personal foul. Nobody was better at that than old Bobby...

I have said the same, and hope we do see some version of that guy.

But I fully understand that CBP is continuously under a microscope, and he's behaving as such.

Like I have said before this has more to do with us being a young and inexperienced team than anything else. In a couple of years you will see the old CBP offense racking up points.

If coach had his 2006 offensive line we'd be putting up some great #'s. Give him time to get the O line functionable and you and I will be as excited as we ever were.
How great is Gerron Christian going to be? We need 5 more of him on our team.

And the red faced. In your face Coach Petrino.....

Go Cards....
Beat the Orange

He still gives the refs an earful when he needs to, when smiles after a bad play, it looks like the most strained smile ever. Like he's about to explode. I think we'll see the old Bobby emerge. If he gets brother Paul back, look out.

Come on i loved the win and the points but look at who we played. The Cuse has one of the worst if not the worst defense in the ACC.

I'd nominate this for top 10% most clueless thing ever posted on here but just going to assume you were drunk instead.

Unless it's Clemson, we're not supposed to take that into consideration.

Bolin fans, do I have that right?...

If you can tell me that old bobby would simply smile when his running back continiously fumbles then I would agree.

If you can tell me that the old bobby would settle for being one dimensional i will agree.

If you will tell me that the old bobby would keep his best playmakers on the bench I would agree.

But, if you can now see the difference in the old and this new bobby get off of your high horse.

Sorry, we just don't have the personnel yet. And your suggestion correlating his character flaws to his past success is laughable, IMO. Those were obviously things that did a lot of damage in his life, and were not the source of his vitality. Quite the opposite they got in the way of ultimate, lasting success.

Once we have the right personnel, we will be competing at the highest level again.

Well you and I can agree to disagree.

Package one
Reggie Bonnafon
Quick
Savage
Jackson
Crum
With Bolin at qb

-Have Reggie as hb and put jackson in the slot or switch them around
-spread these guys out and allow Bolin to pick defenses apart.
-quick routes with post routes from your speed guys

Package two

Hikitini
Stanberry
Jeremy Smith
LJ Scott
Quick split wide
Bolin at QB

-Run the power I and. Pro set
-use the 2 tight end set to cross short out patterns and put the running backs in slants to take advantage of the linebackers having to cover the tight ends.
-run the damn ball up the defenses rear.......
-mix in play action passes
-ball control offense

See sir, we have the talent, the coaches for some reason refuse to use the talent and are hell bent on a spread offense that did not work at UAB and damn sure is not working here.

What should be done is use the talent we have to win in the best fit for the talent we have!

Pro set and power I with Bolin as QB.....

So please explain why you feel different?

You should just come out and say you don't like or trust Petrino and you don't think he should be our Coach. It'd be a lot easier on you and everyone else.

And, setting aside that you just completely jumped rails (you were talking bad about Coach's character change (e.g. you were calling him soft) but now you're talking about tactical use of scheme and I guess you're implying something weird I don't care to follow about all that; but even if we just limit it to talent there is NO COMPARISON between our best team of all time (Petrino's 2nd year team in 2004) and 2015. Because by talent, I mean not only potential but experienced talent.

In our 2004 (CBP1, Year 2 lineup) we had a Jr QB in Lefors, Michael Bush as a frosh + Eric Shelton & some other non-frosh backs //receivers like Montrell Jones, and plus lineman like Wood (underclass version) and Leffew(s), and there were a lot of other guys I'll forbear to list (I have a life and this is a complete rabbit hole argument), TE like Joshua Tinch. That's about as hard as I'm going to work because this is ridiculous but that was a great team.

We were MUCH MUCH more experienced in 2004 and probably more talented, too,

I love CBP hense the thread I want the old sob back. Not the coach that smiles when his rb fumbles.

Also as stated. We have the talent. And need to feed the studs....
Just my opinion in a message board designed for opinions.

Bobby "#^%^%" Petrino died in a motorcycle accident, another tragedy that befalls most ---holes.

Zipp is trying to find the evidence that CBP was "changing" his philosophy when at Ark through his recruiting.

If he wants to change things up, that's fine. But 'Ol 41-9 is now 14 - 9 and not much looking like a genius. Tougher games, true. Same coach. Different philosophy?

If he wants a new offense he has to prove himself all over again. If he does, that's great for everybody. If he doesn't, we'll get somebody else.
