Anyone know the status of Burgess and Samuel? I missed seeing Burgess last nite, and I guess Samuel is still hurting from turf toe (although he has been practicing off and on).
Also, is/was Dontez Byrd a walk-on? I never saw him on a commitment list, but the guy is sure making the most of his opportunities now. Elusive and good hands.
And speaking of walk-ons, I saw Cody Swabek reel in a pass. Won't be surprised if he turns out to be an important possession receiver on key third downs in the near future...
