Came across this reading some BBN fodder however it's quite interesting and expected. Just makes you wonder who decides for these kids. Not that i don't know the answer but it still pisses me off though . As you can see BBN are already into reconstructing their 2021/2022 roster with players . i already see holes in this one because 3-4 aint even going to be their due to transfer or whaterver. But Hopkins as you see is in a 3 deep spot recruited over already . I guess he really believes in his abilities.

Devin Askew/Nolan Hickman
Davion Mintz/Dontaie Allen

Keion Brooks Jr./Cam’Ron Fletcher

Daimion Collins/Jacob Toppin/Bryce Hopkins

Oscar Tshiebwe/Lance Ware

He’s nowhere near as good as many of our fans have made him to be. He’s undersized for his position, and isn’t a great shooter. He deserves what he gets

How funny I wonder if he will still draw inspiration from the chatter of Louisville fans. Karma sure is a bitch I Am just glad it is working against an ex commitment.

I wouldn't expect Mintz back. He's a 22 year old senior with no chance at the NBA. Unless Cal needs him to come back for his own selfish reasons there's absolutely no point or reason for him to come back.

I would also expect Keion Brooks to leave and open up the option for Hopkins to play at the 3, which he can but isn't really his game which will likely lead to another instance of Cal putting a PF primarily on the perimeter when he's better utilized closer to the basket - a la Trey Lyles who would have been great had he came to Louisville and played with Rozier, Harell, Jones and Blackshear like many thought.

I would expect Cal to try and tamper with another kid like he did with Tshiebwe and get another transfer guard and/or convince Skyy Clarke to reclassify which somehow all of UKs kids seem to be able to do at a moments notice.

Good luck to the young man. Hope he makes a lot of money (including what Cal paid him) & has good health.

He's not our guy and I'm ready to see JJ Traynor, Dre Davis, Irish Hulk, and Slaz develop into the deepest & most versatile front-court in the nation the next 3-4 years. I'm happy with who is here now.
