Was just over on Football Scoop and Bryan Brown was one of the 9 finalists for their Defensive Coach of the Year Award. Ironically the winner was Todd Grantham's successor at Miss State Bob Shoops. Other candidates in the mix with Coach Brown were Don Brown (Michigan), Clark Lea (Notre Dame) and, of course, Brent Venables. Congrats Coach Brown, you were in very good company.
