Not gonna lie; it would have been tough to sit in the stands for a game today/tonight, especially in my Upper Deck seats. Glad ours was on TV. Props to those fans who are still there. Respect.

I was actually at the game until the 3rd quarter. My wife graduated from UNC Charlotte so I got tickets from my boss who has been a UK football season ticket holder since the 70s. He told me it was really hard to decide if he wanted to go to the game tonight, yeah some of it was the weather but he was really discouraged by what he has been seeing on the field of play....

Did not look like there were a lot of fans in Pittsburgh. How many seats are in that stadium.

That's Heinz Field, where the Steelers play as well. Google says it seats 65,050. I'm sure it was cold as hell there too.

I think quite a few people got a chance to go to the game, that don't usually have tickets. Saw several posts on Facebook from my UK fan friends who were at the game, that I know don't have season tickets. Glad they got that opportunity.

Funny story. I actually got 6 free tickets. My coworker who is also a UK season ticket holder gave me two of his tickets, but they were midfield upper deck. Then my boss told me he had tickets lower level about the 35 yard line so I used those. At halftime, when it started snowing, reached in his pocket and gave me two more tickets in Section 101, upper deck but it was underneath an overhang....

Sunny and cold.....Lol. It was nice in Florida today.

The upper ACC teams have shown that we need to up recruiting to a different level with both sides of the line. Controlling the line of scrimmage is how the best teams win. I was hoping there would be improvement this year to help compete against the big boys.

We all know the fans will be there next week rain or shine cause it's Louisville.

What was the crowd like to start? No lie they announced attendance at 56,000+
There was nowhere near 56K in that stadium at any point last night. At kickoff it looked about half full. It's always a little harder to tell with the bleachers b/c people can spread out (especially with parkas and blankets, lol).

By the end it was pretty much players' families and enthusiastic kids with tolerant parents. Snow+wind+night game+no name opponent + 5 game losing streak = sorry showing from the fans. But who am I to judge, I was home in front of the TV myself. :)

There was also some high school band competition. There were at least 20 high school team bands in attendance and probably got free tickets.

Rain and showers expected this weekend. Going to be a tough game, for everybody. Coldest day of the week.

I am not accusing UK of this tactic because I could be wrong but it seemed like on the Charlotte bench they had 3 heaters with about 10 players huddled around each but I think the whole bench had heaters on UK's sideline.
