Baylor NCAA ruling SMH

I am out of touch a bit but are you talking about the stuff that went on with their football program?

The entire enforcement process is so inconsistent and ridiculous. The whole point of the NCAA is to protect the student athlete and make the playing field as level as possible.

Louisville failed the kids with the Powell stuff but none of the kids weren’t forced into making that decision. Louisville gained zero competitive advantage.

Baylor and UNC had a complete system set up to benefit their athletic programs. Both received a real competitive advantages by keeping athletes eligible. While both are different situations both hurt their athletes by either not providing a real class or not protecting females on their campus.

It is become more and more clear the NCAA is about 1 thing $$$$$$. It will be why they will eventually reorganize.

Cycle 27: well said! I remain convinced the P5 conference schools, particularly the SEC, are pushing the exit from the NCAA.

It kind of makes you wonder if some of the schools aren’t paying off NCAA officials to hand down stricter penalties on other schools.
