Looks like Louisville Cardinals baseball is no different from other UofL sports when it comes to player snubs.
Not one single position player was voted 1st team all ACC. This despite being a top 2 offensive team in the conference.
Both Logan Wyatt and Alex Binelas were snubbed and ended up on the 2nd team. Ryan Fitzgerald was only a 3rd team selection which is a big time diss.
There was no choice with Reid Detmers. His numbers are unbelievable.
I'm sure the players picked ahead of the Cards are great players but you will rarely see a conference winner that isn't some fluke season not have any 1st team position players. The ACC didn't want to give Dan McDonnell another coach of the year when he's clearly the best coach.
We're still the new guy with the ACC and many resent our baseball dominance since joining the conference.
