They won't care. It's an SEC school NOT named Kentucky. To them, basketball is what you do between the end of football season and spring practice.

I think pretty much any SEC school short of UK would be more than happy with NCAA tourney appearances in 16 of 17 years.

It's the perfect hire by Tennessee. They're getting a coach who understands football is first. He came from that same situation in Austin. He'll get some talent to come in and he'll do well enough to keep people semi excited until football season rolls around. Tennessee would have been better off going back after Bruce Pearl IMO.
