FWIW, there were only 2 false starts. As hop alluded to, 3 of the fumbles were by 1 player. You have to hope that Puma was just too hyped up and tried to make too many plays on his own against a top 10 team.
Top 10 team doesn't matter, the ball was fumbled 5 times , almost 7. I read an article about how much CSS hates false starts, so I'd bet he gets that cleaned up.
Carrying the ball like a loaf of bread is inexcusable, they teach that in middle school.
I thank that scumbag Petrino that Pass is our best option for QB. I like Pass, I want him to do well but I don't think he is the starting QB on many D1 teams.
Actually, that little troll Petrino screwed UL so bad by not recruiting a lot of positions. He is a leech that wins on the backs of other people's hard work and dedication.

I actually think spothog makes a valid point and after last season these boards are no safe place for Petrino, any of them..
The backup center Bently rolled the snap on the ground which was recovered by Hall or Hawkins for a big loss. The 2nd fumble Pass lost was a bit low but was very manageable and clearly should have been handled.
When discussing the current team, especially the QB position, it’s very fair to bring Petrino into the conversation.
It’s possible to carry multiple thoughts. The previous coach did not correct the mechanical issues our current quarterback has. Our current coach, who seems good, is trying to address those bad habits. Our current coach is also short on QB’s because our previous coach did a poor job recruiting and/or retaining QBs.
That’s not necessarily true. CCS could have gotten a GT if he thought Pass and Cunningham were incompetent.
You obviously are reading things that aren’t there. Where did I say they were incompetent QB’s? I said Pass has mechanical issues. And yes CCS tried to get a grad transfer but none of the top guys wanted to come here. Our former coach also essentially ran off our most physically complete QB Jordan Travis.
Pass was not ruined by CBP...yeah yeah yeah, it's easy to hoist all our troubles on him; but Puma is just not panning out...maybe CCS can work his positive reinforcement magic and we can limit the liability; but our QB situation is a serious liability (not just Puma, by the way)
Oops, yeah and neither is Bridgwater...that's the person we need to fix these problems. CSS will find his guy too, probably not this year though.
