Two of Louisville's five premium armed recruits--Brian Hoeing and Riley Thompson--are having Tommy John surgery, making it very unlikely they will be drafted in the amateur draft coming up in a couple weeks. Rough year for Hoeing who was one of the better basketball players in Indiana but had an ACL that kept him out most of his senior year.
Maybe they can turn it into a short term setback but a long term gain like it's been for Josh Rogers; it's got to be tough news for a 17 year old.
