Are We Bowl Eligible Yet?

honestly, i feel like we just suddenly got five more wins yesterday and we should be going to a bowl. but i'll go ahead and predict 7-5 next year and i'm going to start celebrating early. happy new year everyone!
I am just glad we have a coach that can rebuild us to an ACC contender again. And he is man that will build character of our players, also!
I think 7-5 is extremely difficult next year. New scheme, unknown roster and we play ND, Clemson here and @ Miami, FSU, and NC St. VA, BC, KY, WF, and Syracuse wont be easy, but think we can win a few there to go along with EKU and WKU. Schedule is rough! I'm saying 4-8 and will take that as long as we see effort, we are able to move the ball, and we aren't giving up 50+, 7 times.
Yes, but poor coaching was a big factor than talent was to our downfall. But we need o-line badly.
Totally agree. I do think we have enough good pieces on both sides of the ball to at least be competitive. Being competitive and winning year 1 is a big difference. Hell, look at what CCM is doing, maybe its possible!! Get the kids to buy-in and compete and you just never know.

With a new power rushing offensive scheme and new coaching, I think our line play will be considerably more effective. These kids were good to excellent linemen coming out of high school and it seems, through the unconventional play of Lamar and an over all lack of effective coaching, they got lost. CSS and crew have their work cut out them, but all indications from watching the play of his linemen at ASU are that we can expect a dramatic improvement. Never mind all the dumb penalties, Satterfield coached teams don't seem to suffer from that.
