Many of us have been here to experience the growth of Cardinal football.
We remember free tickets at Convenient Food Mart, we remember old Cardinal stadium( both before and after the addition of the aluminum bleachers),we remember, the MVC, Metro, C-USA, Big East, AAC, etc.
When the polls come out tomorrow,regardless of where we are in the Top 5, take a moment to look at the names of the 20+ teams ranked below us and enjoy the realization that we are at an all time high. Note that Oklahoma, Michigan St. Clemson, Fla State and other traditional powers are listed below our Cardinals. We should especially appreciate the fact that it was earned the hard way. Nothing handed to us. No affiliation with a power conference until recently. Simply hard work, many stops and starts and a lot of people who believed in grinding it out and improving our position with a lot of hard work and vision for the future.
