First year coach Elijah Drinkwitz appears poised to take Mizzou head coaching job. Gotta wonder if App State looks at Ledford or Brown to take over.

The favorite for the job is App State Assistant Head Coach (and alum) Shawn Clark. If he gets the job, I’d be surprised if he didn’t snag a few of our lower level assistants.

It won't be Ledford. Supposedly, he was offered the job last year when Satt left and passed. Then he had a change of heart and the athletic director told him that the ship had sailed. Won't be Roof either. He's reportedly going with Drink. Brown could be a candidate but right now it's easier to say who won't be the next coach in Boone instead of who might be the next coach.

We need to give our defensive coordinator a break guys he had to coach this year with a depleted defense. We all know CBP recruited heavily on the offensive side of the ball neglecting the defensive side. That on top of the fact that we had some good defensive players transfer out.

Losing coaches doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. In this case, it’s year one in a defense rated somewhere around 104th or worse. If your going to lose someone, hell you might find yourself in a better situation. Isn’t Brown a co-defensive coordinator?

and he's getting paid more than our coach too. not bad for one year and get to make more than the guy who set everything up for you to win. and their ad is being interviewed for the cincy job. all because satts brought them forward into sunbelt and succeeded there and now here. the train of job offers has started

The hire is a really big gamble. He hasn’t built a program and won with another coaches players. Then they double double with the 4m salary.
