I'm not patient. I'll be honest.

I wish we didnt have to wait so long to find out our team next year.

All of the speculation and inputs everyone gives just makes the wait feel that much longer.

Honestly, Im dreading the basketball and football drought.

Anyone else?

Same here. I'm a bit anxious to find out who is staying or going on the team. Once we find that out and the team is basically set for next season, the wait for the next season starts. I'm mostly a basketball fan so that will be an even longer wait for me.

I absolutely hate it because of the impact the decision will have....Mitchell's decision takes us from potential preseason #1 and arguably the favorite to win the title to maybe preseason 8-15 and puts us in a group of "pretty good" teams that have a shot.

That's pure speculation and nothing more. Mitchell leaving or not leaving isn't the issue. The issue is the same issue every team has to deal with and that's roster turnover along with meshing in new players. That's not going to change regardless what Mitchell, Adel, Johnson, or anyone else decides to do. We have another top 10 recruiting class coming in and 4 very good players. How can anyone factor in what they will do today? What about King? Will he make a dramatic improvement like Mitchell did from his frosh to sophomore year? It's possible.

Bottom line is we don't know what the future holds, but regardless it's not any different than any other offseason. We just have to wait and see.

While I agree with the general sentiment of what you're saying whether or not Mitchell comes back will have a massive impact on ULs potential for next season. Can UL potentially win a title if he leaves? Sure...but if he stays then UL goes into the season with arguably the front runner for ACC POY and an ACC All Defensive 1st team member and their returning team captain and the impact of that would have massive implications on ULs season.

True. All true, but it's only true subjectively. LOL. Mitchell, Johnson, Adel, King and the rest need to do what they feel is the right thing for themselves. As a selfish fan, I want to see all of them come back, but it's not my decision so I'll wait it out and accept whatever shakes out. The next college basketball season is a long way off. Chances are we're not going to really know who is on the team and who isn't until late summer/early fall. Then we'll be speculating again on who plays big roles and who won't. It's the life cycle of being a fan!

If you're referring to Louisville baseball, it stinks there's not many televised games.
Yes, U of L baseball. And I've caught all but one or two on "TV" that I couldn't catch in person. The ACC Network stream is very good usually...

It's also on 93.9 TheVille and they have a number you can call and it won't hurt your data plan.
Listen to ESPN stations 93.9 fm (641)793-9401 and 680am.(605)477-9680 great deal using these numbers put my headphones on and listen anywhere. You can even answer your phone and put em on hold.Saves data can't beat free.

I've seen almost every game on my iPhone using WatchESPN. It's 5 times better than ESPN3 basketball games I used to watch.
