First and foremost, congrats on your team having a great season. I haven't watched them play much, but I hear they are pretty good. That being said, if you're fortunate enough to watch UK live in the Yum Center this weekend, I respectfully ask you to please follow these suggestions...
We know you want to, and likely will in some form, but don't vandalize the Yum Center. Whether it be putting a roll of toilet paper in the commode to cause flooding, or carving "UK" in a seat, or simply spitting tobacco juice in the halls, just don't do it. You're better than that.
Be respectful. Don't come wildly blaring into town acting like Old Sammity Sam. We are the host city. Try to be a good guest.
If you desire to get a matching tattoo similar to the one on WCS's neck, my first inclination is to recommend Tattoo Charlies. But call in advance. They will be busy- lots of necks to tat up.
If visiting the Louisville Science Center . Wait, it's educational, so never mind.
Please resist the urge to hold log rolling competitions in the flooded Ohio River. It's dangerous, and your safety is important.
Remember to tuck in your t-shirts and wife beaters when visiting 4th Street Live. There is a dress code.
It's inevitable, but the C-A-T-S cheer will be heard a lot throughout the streets of Louisville. If you could hold it down to say less than 3,000 times, I think that's reasonable.
Thanks in advance for the boost to Louisville's economy. We'll try put the money to good use.
When people watching in the Highlands and on Bardstown Road, remember, when you see an alternative type and you say to yourself "look at that weirdo," that "weirdo" likely sees you dressed in your blue and white and thinks the same thing.
How about a trip to the zoo? Please don't feed the animals. They don't like or want your homemade venison jerky or fast food chicken nugget.
Lastly, be patient with your food and drink orders. The bars and restaurants downtown near Yum will be packed. Tip your servers and bar tenders well.
Have fun.
