Yes we are alone in second place in the ACC standings now wouldn't be great to knock off North Carolina and take that first place spot this can happen .

Playing as well as any team in America. Alone in 2nd place in by far the best conference in the land and Jerry Palm, Joe Lunardi and the hack at SI.com probably have us a 6 seed.

This is a good year to have a strong team if we can continue to get better every game like we have so far this team can go a long way. This kind of reminds me of our time in the Big East, it took CRP a few years before he got the players he needed to get before he won the BE.
Well you wouldn't know it from watching last night's game on ESPNU. Several times during the game they said VT is in 2nd place and even put up a graphic at the end of the game still showing VT ahead of us even with a worse record. It gets old.
They had VT in second I guess because they have played more league games and have the same win total. But logic tells you that yes we have the same win total but we have fewer "L" so we would be the team in 2nd place.
The toughest part of our conference schedule is yet to come so don't pop that cork yet.
