Afraid this is how ACC play will go

Was gonna make a post on this very subject on the way to the airport for JAX...

This is what I had expected to see by now in other games and what I expect to see too often in the ACC. ANY road win going forward will be a cause to rejoice because this LPT team ain't that good. We should be the dog in every road game except for Pitt.

Let's get this football W tomorrow. We lost the game we could afford to lose...

Yeah, I was expecting you to start the NIT talk again but you’re scared...

The bigger issue is better teams, better players and better coaching is going to be a common theme in ACC play. Even average teams are going to be as talented. Rough couple years ahead unfortunately.

Padgett is in over his head in this situation but any one would be in his shoes. I hope this game isn't a prelude to ACC play, but I want to believe they will play better going forward.

How the team reacts after this loss will be telling IMO. If they bounce back with some fire then there is a chance for a decent rest of season if not then boy will it be a long conference stretch.

4-star freshman, Darius Perry played only 7 minutes, 0-3FG, with 4 personal fouls. I know he is a freshman but so are the players for UK. UofL is going to need him to be a better back-up PG, and be more productive.

Perry’s minutes have gone down lately, I think to get Q back on track and to play McMahon. When he gets in now, he’s looking for his shot. CDP needs to realize we need him for his on ball D and he needs PT. The big three of Snider, Adel and King play too many minutes.

Agree. King and Deng are too similar in their style, tendencies and abilities. They should sub out for each other and not be on the floor together, IMO.

Neither plays 'd' very well and both are shoot first pass second kind of players. P, Q and M should spell each other and not have both Q and M in together for any long amount of time, again for 'd' reasons.

The sooner CDP comes to that realization....the better this team will function and the future point guard, Perry will mature and grow into the type of player needed to run the offense.....and help this team thrive. M getting playing time over him is not a good morale or confidence builder for him.

I believe this team will somewhat resemble our team from two years ago, after we self imposed.
