Adel staying in the draft.

He has moments. Then he has other moments. Hope it all works out for him. The word is he was "inspired" aka "jealous" of Donovan lighting it up in the NBA. He feels he's as good if not better than him.

Hope I’m wrong but I cannot see him making an NBA roster because he is bad at handling the ball and isn’t a great defender.

He still needs to learn how to inbound the ball properly!

I don't know the NBA, but I know it's a game with players that I don't care watching.

...Which reminds me of Adel. If he killed it there, it wouldn't surprise me...

I would be shocked if Adel has anywhere close to the success of Donovan. I’d say his ceiling is a career like rozier. Rides pine for a few years to develop and then shows everyone what he can do if a star player goes down with injury. Terry has much more talent than Adel though IMO.

Yeah Rozier's isolation game and ability to rebound makes him an asset at the next level.

Adel does not have specified skill that separates him from the great players that play his position.

The loss of Pitino probably really hurt his draft value. Rick more than likely would have greatly improved his defensive game, perhaps made him a lockdown wing defender - we'll never know.

I suspect he'll toil in the G League a few years and then head overseas, though you never know who will have a great tryout for scouts.

4 open scholarships, going to add at least 3. Probably 3.

I can't remember the exact numbers, but doesn't the team have scholarship reductions in place over the next few seasons? If so, might they not look to fill every scholarship for that reason?

I know the roster is very thin right now though so we need to add some players.

Any insight on grad transfers?

Mike Cunningham and Joe Cremo are two that Ik of right now. Im sure there are more. It's not necessarily closed to only grad transfers, but I'd imagine that's who we go after for the most part then hit the HS recruits hard for '19 like David Johnson, Armaan Franklin, Matthew Hurt, etc. All 3 one's to watch.

They can do it however they want but the scholly reduction is really nothing. I mean there's ways that it won't have hardly any effect. Before Pitino was canned we were going to take 5 for the '18 class...
