In the first day of the ACC WBB Tournament, just one game -- where #12 seed Pittsburgh and #13 seed Boston College faced off.

Note: I did not watch this one, but Paulie gave me a full report on it.

Cameron Swartz was the star in BC's 67-56 win over Pittsburgh. She had a career high 33 points in the win for the Eagles. This one was ugly early, Pitt managing just two points in the first six minutes and a football score at the end of the first -- 14-7 Boston College. Pitt rallied in the second quarter to make it a two-point game at the half -- 28-26 BC. The Eagles used a 19-12 third quarter run to put some distance between them and the Panthers and held on to win. Eagles star Taylor Soule was hampered with foul trouble and finished with just four points in the contest

For their efforts, Boston College gets Syracuse today at 2:30. The day opens with a second round noon contest to see who will face Louisville when Wake Forest and North Carolina collide. The evening session at Greensboro starts with Virginia Tech and Miami at 6 p.m. and concludes with the game I'm waiting to see -- Notre Dame vs. Clemson. at 8:30 p.m.

I suspect will be playing UNC tomorrow. I hope our Cards are loaded and ready to roll. I’m sure they will be. Can’t wait for some BB.

Okay it probably was wishful thinking that I picked UNC to win. Bring on WF

We barely beat them when we played them so this could be a tight game unless we come out hitting in all cylinders.
