I meant to ask last week, but how was the ACC tourney televised on both ESPN and NBC (WAVE)? I could see if ABC carried it since they are in the family, but how did an NBC affiliate get the rights to share with a competitor? Don't the conferences and the networks have some sort of exclusive agreement for broadcast rights? I know there is an "ACC Network" but it is not the same as the $EC, Big Ten and LHN which all have dedicated channels carried by must cable/satellite packages. Did WAVE buy the rights for this tourney? It appeared they had their own broadcast crews so somebody spent some money to make that happen.
