I agree with this sentiment but I also agree with not changing your normal days of rest for your pitching rotation. That's also a recipe for failure. We need to throw our best in the Pitt game and if we win, throw our best available vs. Duke. Get those 2 wins, then losing next game against a quality opponent won't hurt too bad.
You have to be realistic at this point-we don't have the pitchers this year to go deep in the ACC and if you get cute saving pitchers, we will lose early.
I honestly think I start Peter Michael v Pitt.
I also get playing for today and not playing for tomorrow. Yet, Peter should he rested and has been very good all year.Either him or Eberle. For me it would depend on whether Pitt hits lefties or righties better. If it is more or less the same, then I’d agree with you on starting Michael.
Maybe not, just depends on what happens with the Regional Top seeds 11 thru 16.Getting in the tourney, IMO, is a given. At what seed is the real question. Winning the ACCT, I do not think, gets us to a top 16 seed and a regional host. It could greatly improve what regional they get sent to though.
Speaking of it,I was wondering if anybody was watching any of that Alabama game. Was it me or was that home plate umpire pulling some Angel Hernandez type isht for the Tide with some of those strike calls?😅A little controversy
Worst hangover I ever had back in the day. I think I got mesmerized by those flakes.I’m going to need some Goldschlager after watching Schlageter pitch. I mean, WTF was that?
