The way it's looking Louisville will probably be a number eight or 9 seed. That means if they win the first game they would have to play Virginia.

If the cards win their last two games and finish 11 and 7 they could get a number 4 or 5 seed. Obviously, a 4 seed would get a 1st round bye. If we can split the last two games we could still get the 5 seed and would have to play the 4 seed in the quarterfinals which will probably be Clemson.

To win 2 games in the ACC tournament we're probably going to have to beat Virginia or Duke unless we're the 4 or 5 seed. Need some things to happen like Miami and FSU to lose out and Syracuse to lose at least once to avoid any of the top 3 until the semifinals.

Not the best odds. Most likely we will be the 9 seed going up against Miami or FSU and if we win, the Virginia Cavaliers.

Actually the top 4 seeds get a double-bye. 5 thru 8 get a 1 game bye. 9 thru the end have to play until they lose which could be 5 wins.

I knew that. Obviously the Cards somehow getting that 4 seed would be the best way to win two games. It would take good luck to avoid Virginia, Duke or UNC in that second game and the Cards don't usually have much good luck.

The thing is, they're capable of playing with AND winning against those teams especially on a neutral court. The ACC tourney is in Brooklyn (I think) so it will be a true neutral site.

First thing first. We NEED that big time signature win Thursday night.

Go CARDS!!!!

Virginia can be beaten if you can get them in a hole, hey can't score, but they play Defense and try to slow things down.

You have to make shots. Open shots. Contested shots. Layups and putbacks. You got to get Virginia out of their comfort zone.

I've been saying for two years our offense needs to change against Virginia. Don't let them double the bigs by shooting the 3. Get them out on shooters then get it inside. You have to make them though and that's something we just haven't been able to do.

The thing is, the team actually shot well enough to beat them the last time- 8 of 18 from 3 point land. And UofL out rebounded them. However UVA caught fire, hit some crazy shots, and beat the Cards with their offense instead.
