It wasn't Zipp. That guy has been MIA for a while. The shirt was the same on both front and back.

It is Zipp. Same white visor from the Save Tom rally. Had to google to find the image. He's also the one who has been consistent in his campaign to get Tyra removed, right or wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's Zipp.
The dude in the shirt had an Ian Poulter vibe to him. Unless zipp dropped a few pounds, underwent major reconstruction surgery, and grew a few inches taller, it wasn't him.

Yes, he had really dropped in size compared to this pic, the last I seen him, maybe 2 1/2 yrs ago. There's only one zipp and one person that would wear that shirt, IMO. I've been in that tailgate zone for 20 years. Those people, that guy with the shirt, it's the first they have parked/tailgated by us. I know zipp only from pictures. If I thought it was him, I would have said something. I'll introduce myself next home game for confirmation.

I do miss the guy. If there were more posters here instead of him just being able to be the loudest voice in a smaller room, then people wouldn't have had so much animosity towards him.
But the obsession with Tyra is insane in this instance.
#1 Satterfield was universally praised as a hire. Brohm was RUN OFF by Jurich and he wasn't coming here. We did not have too many options. Football hires are weird as Cooper, Kragthorpe, and Bobby 2.0 proved. But this Satterfield hire was really the first hire of this new ACC era where we needed to build a program. Bobby had an ACC ready program on day 1, but we still viewed things from a Big East perspective.
#2 Mack was the #1 choice. The crazy anti-Tyra people have this dream that Jurich was going to bring in Jay Wright coming off a national title had he been here. Pearl was the only big name we could've gotten, but he had FBI stink. Cronin was my choice, but he was a Rick guy. Muss and Oats weren't slam dunks at the time. Mack was coming off a #1 Seed and Big East title and an Elite 8 the year before that. He knew the area and wanted the job.
50 years ago we were lucky to get Denny and then even luckier to have him stay 30 years. Then our luck had it that the BEST COACH IN BASKETBALL had left our rivals and then failed in the NBA and wanted to be back in this area. TJ did the heavy lifting to get Rick in here, but we were lucky that he was available and we would've gotten a Mack level hire.
Vince Tyra inherited all this mess from scandals and financial issues. He inherited a Football Program that was the WORST TEAM IN P5 with a coach that QUIT on our team that had a $14million buyout.
If Tom stayed? I mean who is to say he didn't make the same Chris Mack hire? Who is to say he doesn't make another Kragthorpe or Bobby 2.0 hire in football? Didn't TJ and Ramsey have the bright idea to bring in Chuck Smrt?

Yeah, whose bright idea was it to claim/smear Ramsey for $8 mil? Spend $5.5 mil on lawyers/investigator. Then settle the deal with Insurance co and get $800 thousand. Read the story from business sites. Don’t waste your time with CJ and local media crap.
Zipp was right about the CLOWN SHOW that new board was coming into this era. Now some of the old crew are to blame as they made some poor choices, but then the interim period was chaotic.
But Neeli and Vince really did come into a tough situation. Basketball had 2 investigations and had to replace maybe the best basketball coach of all-time, that wasn't Vince's fault. Football was coming off a 10-15 year period that had us move from CUSA to Big East to ACC where we won 2 BCS bowls and won a Heisman, but the coach in place had a $14 million buyout and left the roster in disarray and no recruits for the new guy coming in.
High expectations from fans, but a university in turmoil from scandals, cash, and returning talent in FB and MBB. Not to mention instability at the top.
Just watch a 2018 game or even the 2017 team where we struggled even with Lamar, this roster is much better considering the hole we were in 2018. THis was the WORST defense in Power 5 history, now it's just average to below average. The offensive line was a disaster and now it's respectable. We are better, but we are too close to 2016 where we took Clemson to the final minute and the fans just think it's that close. Scott would've been better served going 4-8 or 5-7 in year 1 instead of the 8-5 turnaround.
Zipp posts on the scout board and they ignore him. Lots of traffic there, they kind of drown him out.

He was a good read prior to all the scandals. He trolled UK relentlessly and his takes overall were pretty good. He knew a lot about different things, for sure. The arena, finances, the games, the opponents, etc.
He became unhinged and got to the point of just being a troll to what was remaining of the community here. If there's a Bobby 2.0 there could be a Zipp 2.0.

I’ve been doing it the same way forever. There’s probably an easier method. I save the pic to my computer, go to an image upload site like imgur, upload photo, save it, and now I have a link to image. I then copy and paste/insert link into image/photo icon thing here, and it’s done.
I'm arranging a second printing run if anyone's interested. I figure there might be more of a volume discount this time around...

No doubt, there are like 500k different posters on this site all sharing diverse talking points. There are so many different threads and nuggets being passed around, it's hard to keep up.
I just have no idea how random poster Zipp was able to "stand out" from all the others. It's a mystery.
I’m not sure just that he thinks Vince is a UK mole. Which is ridiculous. He went to UK because Louisville didn’t offer baseball scholarships then.
UofL baseball was a D1 program in 1984 - they were allowed to provide scholarships for baseball - what makes you believe they didn’t?

My sarcasm knows no bounds, that's true. I also like the photo with him and Maddie Bangs. And I acknowledged that Tyra's LPT connection "didn't help him."
But I've never been a big conspiracy guy if you actually followed my work. To implicate slapd!cks, you need to be beating that big conspiracy drum. That's never been me...
