This Indiana basketball season is beginning to look like a season on the brink of collapse. IU sits now at 12-6 having lost 4 games in a row. In that four game losing streak included unranked Maryland, Nebraska, and Purdue. IU was ranked as high at #21 but now is not getting even a vote.

This year's team was supposed to have taken the next step having added blue chip recruit, Romeo Lankford.

The next few weeks things don't get easier with games:
@ Northwestern
vs #5 Michigan
@ Rutgers (have to win this one)
@ #6 Michigan State

Last year the Hoosiers were 16-15 and 9-9 in the B1G under Archie Miller in his first season.

Another disappointing season will have people questioning the hire, especially with what Chris Mack is doing at UofL.

IU-Bloomington will be without the services of Devonte Green tonight. Word has it, he’s on the wacky weed..

Did Kelvin Sampson recruit this guy? His teams were half baked most the time.

The way things have gone at IU for the last 27 years, it's probably drove most of their fans to get on the wacky weed. They have been so bad for so long. It couldn't happen to a more deserving fan base.

Romeo would be doing so much better as a Card.

Speaking of IU-Bloomington, has anyone heard about the Luke Hancock and the 2013 players mediation with the NCAA? The “Mediator” Pete Palmer is a huge IUB fan and UofL hater. Palmer and his son were on the IUB jumbotron doing the “L’s Down” sign at the game back in December. Even in mediation we get screwed

Everyone was looking at Pittsburgh as a bad loss. IU is quickly falling into that category.
Yeah you're right. The fact is. You guys (UofL) doesn't need to be playing Indiana anymore. All it does is drag your strength of schedule down. Strength of schedule wise you would be better off playing Indiana State.

I still like playing Indiana. Not like UK who won't play on anybody else's home court unless mandated.

Romeo would have fit in nicely here at the 2 spot.

Heard something on the radio a few weeks ago about the court in Assembly Hall looking like it needs to be dust mopped. I thought it was pretty funny. It does look dusty in there.

Tough spot for Langford, I am sure he feeling pressure to carry the team and it is impacting his play. They have no shot without him playing at a high level. At the time you could understand his decision, but now that you have some data his decision to go to IU over Louisville is proving to be a bad one. He would have been the perfect 2 in Mack system and this team.

This supports the UK/Duke model of elite players going to the same place when they go to a place where they have to carry the team it is tough. Simmons was the same at LSU, no matter how talented they are they have to have good players beside them.

Fun fact - they fired Mike Davis. After he lost in the 2nd Round of the NCAAs.

Look at the clown results they've had since.

Screw Langford. Maybe after they go 17-15 they can name another playground or park after him.
