I think it is. They missed the free throws, committed the stupid fouls and then didn't understand how to throw the ball in bounds. Even a freaking 8th grader understands not to do those things in those situations.

The crazy thing is, the only thing they had to do on the last inbound was throw it deep. Even if Virginia intercepts the pass, so what! They would still be 50 feet or so from their basket. That one is on Padgett for not setting that up.

Not fool proof. Adel would have probably thrown it out of bounds untouched giving it back to Virginia for an in-bounds play under our basket.

Even bugs haphazardly hitting a windshield are smarter than the way we performed the last minute of the game.

If it went untouched, UVA would have got the ball in the same place they got it on the last play. Under their own basket.

Regardless, it wasn't as fool proof as it is being suggested. He would have been better off just skipping the pass off of someone's leg (either side). That would have started the clock and it would have run out.
