    That and unforced turn overs., Maybe playing passive with 7 player having 4 fouls each and 3 fouling out. USC seemed to have a longer bench,(I didn't check the box score for mins played each player. Call it a lesson learned (hopefully) and move on.

    Surprised you listen to UK's post game show, I don't even do that, so I wouldn't know. The big majority on the boards disliked the 59 PFs and 74 FTs that destroyed the game pace. Most of RR agree that TOs and missed FTs were the problem. The charge/block foul was 6-0 against UK as OF fouls...

    Where did you hear that? The refs screw the whole game (both teams) 74 fts , 36 & 38, We (UK) just missed more. The fouls were about even.......shorter bench and TOs were a major factor. This team is very inconsistent and plays very immature at times. Con'grats on your game. I watched it up...

    If the proposed new transfer rule is approved, I could see some mid-majors looking to move up. The "iffy" status might not matter as most don't expect to make the tourney anyway. Playing for a major in a power 5 could be very enticing.

    Right on, KP did not have an offer to refuse. When the question was posed he could not say....."Sure, I want it" or "No way I would take it"...as usual like others he praised the current coach and attempted to be politically correct. Anyone who would expect an honest answer under that...

    In defense of the OP, KP did say he wouldn't take a "bad" job..That's close enough :D Although, I think he meant that he had a good job and who keep it until something better was offered. Some are great assistants, and that's their limit.

    Likely. I moved to Nashville in the 80's. Losing to Vandy is more embarrassing . Really, the influence from Jefferson Co doesn't extend this far.

    I wouldn't use the game at UK as a barometer. Even UL's best teams have not played well in Rupp over last 10 years. This year, UL just plain quit..playing uninspired. Same for UK in Knoxville...just don't get it done. P.S. The question was "who is having the worst year", not the worst team.

    ?? Maybe equal.. Don't expect either to have a great year....upper limit for either is make the tourney and (with luck) survive the first weekend. Going forward????? UK has 8 FR & 3 Soph. maybe for once we get 6-8 back for next year. U of L ..........much bigger question on who returns or who...

    That led to FT disparity. 25 untested shots, hitting 12%,,, no need to guard. Another 25 (est) taken without feeding the post or driving to the basket, which is how shooting FTs are created. 25 to 19 fouls is not so bad. ..the shooting FT attempts is.
