Chinanu Onuaku: The 6-foot-10 sophomore big man "has had the biggest change in attitude on our team," Pitino said. "Him and Jaylen Johnson. They are terrific now, encouraging people and talking a lot." This is drastic change from Onuaku's demeanor in the locker room as a freshman, at least to me. He was quiet and seemingly disengaged. In Tuesday's press conference, Pitino said the chance for Onuaku to train with the Team USA U19 squad would be huge because it would show him "that it's not just the University of Louisville that works hard.

Hoping Onuaku's experience on the U19 team will give him a good head start on this upcoming season.

I think we can all agree, it's a lot of fun watching a young big fella get a little humbled and then turn into a player before it's all over.

This guy is already a stout rebounder and very nice passer. The passing is going to be key for a team with so many new faces.

Agree. Passing out of and into the post will be key this season. Onuaku has the body to be a force in the middle- even if it is mostly for rebounding and rim protection which is still important.

The Placaios comment would be sarcasm if he was still on the team but he has been gone for about 10 years now.
