Matz Is A Big Project

When you look at that group -- I remember you, for example, saying Matz Stockman did well in individuals but it's hard to tell --

Matz's biggest problem is he's got to overcome some ... Matz has some tremendous shortcomings, culturally, in the game of basketball. Norway has no culture for basketball. He is an observer rather than a participant. He won't push people. He's got to be pulled. Matz is a big project.

Do you view Anas Mahmoud the same way?

No. No. Anas has a different culture all together, because he came over here and played.

From all accounts Matz is showing great signs of promise.

Matzs has been hard to stop in practice and has been a big factor on the defensive end of the floor.

For the sake of possibility......... And being a solid 5 fouls to use in a game, lets all hope this multi year project is closer to complete that half way.

We need this kid to cause problems for other teams. Having him playing solid defense would be incredible.
