Down 1 in the 9th we get the leadoff hitter on and with the #8 batter up we get caught stealing with a pinch runner coming outta the dugout in 30 degree weather instead of laying a bunt down.

And then get caught stealing AGAIN to end the game. Why take the bat out of our own hands twice in the 9th down by 1?
small ball is laying down a bunt in that situation. Stealing them over and trying for a big hit is power baseball
