Inbounding The Ball

Drives me nuts when the Cards can't get open when inbounding the ball late in games, especially under the opponents goal. How many times have they thrown it to the other team in those situations?

It happened again late game against GTech. Payne needs to find a better inbounds play to get someone open, use a timeout, or tell his players to use one when no one is open.

Yeah, inbounding the ball and use of timeouts have been concerning all year. The overall movement and inability or lack of setting screens on baseline out of bounds plays…. just a head scratcher.

I’ve never seen a team at this level struggle to get the ball in this much. If I remember correctly, the late one was a pass to the corner which is a bad idea anyway unless you’re going quick and have something to run out of it that they practice.

To be fair, in a game like that time and situation it can be stressful but still…. Generally, the struggle to get the ball in and misuse of timeouts have been a concern.
