Funkhouser starting for Tigers tomorrow

He's pitched well more than not so far. He does have that Starting pitching ace name with Funkhouser. The best starters have funky names.
Interesting he only pitched 2.2 innings (maybe a pitch count) registering 1 hit, 1 K and 1 BB. Tigers lost to white Sox 4-1. Engle went 1-4.
He was being used as a opener. The Tigers still haven't decided if the funkmeister is a starter or a relief pitcher.
I think it's great he's getting a chance it's not easy to get to a MLB team. Doing better this year compared to last, limited innings though.
Starting again today, 1pm vs Twins... they seem to give him a few innings as opener. Good #'s FWIW
