I’m sure Heird will sacrifice another year even if he has the balls to fire Payne by being late.
It's pretty amazing how out of step whoever is in charge is with the majority of the fans. But once the season is over, they got nowhere to hide. Masks off!
If Payne is fired after this season ends it would be advantageous to get the new coach in position to recruit and hit the portal ASAP.
There has to be some movement behind the scenes to not fall really behind in the portal which is more important than ever. Hopefully it's announced that Payne is out after the last game of the season and not late March or April 1.
