I think it’s safe to say that former Louisville guard Chris Jones’ collegiate basketball career didn’t end the way that he expected it to.
Jones was dismissed from the team in February after breaking curfew. just a few days after being booted from the program, Jones was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting 2 women at an off-campus apartment party.
In late April the case went to a grand jury in Jefferson County, but after hearing testimony from several witnesses, the jury decided the case against Jones was not strong enough to move forward.
Since the charges were dropped a few weeks ago, Jones has been putting his life back together. He’s been living in South Florida where he’s training in hopes to land a professional contract.
Jones wasn’t invited to the combine and isn’t expected to be hear his name called in this year’s draft, but according to his Instgram account, Jones will attend a workout for the Dallas Mavericks on June, 2.
