While I am hoping for Chris Jones's sake. It doesn't have bearing on his standing with Louisville. He broke curfew got himself in a mess and gave Louisville a black eye. Maybe as he gets clear of this he will finally learn a lesson that actions have consequences.
If true, this is great news for Chris.
That means she lied and should receive a mandatory prison sentence, and be liable for punitive damages.

No Doubt. If she or anyone else made up those allegations then they need the book thrown at them. What kind of low life would think that something like that would be funny?
My question is about the lead detective in the case and the people who did the rape examination at the hospital. If this was all made up then how could there be sufficient evidence to charge someone of such a horrible crime involving 5 people total?
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Been hearing since it broke that he would never spend a day in prison. Beginning to believe that he's going to walk. Going to be reported on WAVE 3 after a current commercial.
It didn't make any sense in the first place so hopefully these latest rumblings of his innocence turn out to be true.
Still, we all need to keep in mind the reason he isn't on the roster today is because he broke curfew which he agreed to abide by in order to be reinstated after sitting out the Syracuse game. IF he is indeed innocent of rape and sodomy, that shouldn't mean he's coming back to the team. He needs to move on and so does UofL basketball. Enough is enough. He had several chances and blew it. The team is better off without his distractions.

He's maybe not guilty of the charges, but he is guilty of just getting involved in this stuff with all that he has at stake plus his knowing that he has a commitment to the team and his fellow teammates. He is guilty of being a distraction and possibly a deterrent to a highly successful season.
