Anas is the most offensively gifted big man on the roster. I'm really pulling for this guy to make some strides physically.

^This is what I think. He could really show something this year if he has put a little good weight and strength on. He is very skilled for his height. He could be the difference if he has improved enough to take major minutes. I'm seeing that. Hope he doesn't let RP down as I think he has schemed for that too. The secret weapon if he has developed he could be even more of a scorer to go with his natural instinctive blocking ability. I am hoping he, jaylen and Mathiang have made the greatest strides this year.

Yeah back in early June. Anas Mahmoud underwent successful surgery to repair the torn medial meniscus in his left knee. They said this injury was not all bad news because while sitting out he could shovel in the food and gain some needed weight. Of course I hope he is fully recovered and good to go soon as well.
Meniscus(sp?) tear. Orthoscopic procedure. Hopefully, he'll be able to play by Puerto Rico. Certainly should be OK by the start of regular season practice.
